I have a HP Omni PC, model # 200-5330in, preloaded with Windows 7, that is about 10 years old; I have recently upgraded the OS to Windows 10 form the Microsoft website. The PC has become very slow as there is only 2GB RAM, with 2 X IGB in the RAM slots. Is it possible to increase the RAM? When the local HP rep tried to increase the RAM by plugging in a 2GB card in one of the slots, it refused to work. So back to 1GB RAM in each slot. He claims the 'system does not support a higher RAM. Is this true? Can someone help. If not possible I will have to go back to Windows &.

Hi:
Below is the link to the memory upgrade information for your PC.
You can install 2 x 4 GB of DDR3 memory for a total of 8 GB.
The possible problem why the memory the local HP rep tried to install didn't work, is that your PC must use very specific memory.
It has to be DDR3 1.5V, not DDR3L 1.35V.
It has to have 8 little black memory chips on each side of the memory board, not just 4.
It must be PC3-10600 or PC3-8500. It cannot be PC3-12800.
See if you can get any one of these memory brands and part numbers in India...
