Hi:
I don't recommend that you install an old graphics card such as the GeForce 9500GS.
You should install one of the graphics cards that HP offered for the model series, or a newer one such as the Nvidia GT 1030.

How did I know you already have the card?
So go ahead and use it if you want.
You may have to enable legacy mode and disable secure boot in the BIOS though if they are enabled now.
I already told you that the card is old, and you can do much better with a GT 730, GT 1030, or one of the cards listed in the spec sheet.
