Can I put a gtx 1070 inside a Hp Elitedesk 800 G4 with an i7 8700?

so i am trying to upgrade a Hp Elitedesk 800 G4 wiht an i7 8700 and 16gb of ram and would like to know if a gigabyte gtx 1070 would fit and work in this system?

windows 10 (32bit) only supports 4GB ram max, so if you have 16GB useable you have the 64 bit version of windows 10

next is your Hp Elitedesk 800 G4 a mini tower or small form factor (SFF) model?

only the mini tower can fit full sized video cards like the 1070

last, the minitower power supply is only 250 watts, which will not support a 1070 and uses a non ATX power supply

you can however replace the HP supply with a standard 550 watt (name brand) ATX supply, and then use a adapter to connect the ATX supply to the HP motherboard

if a ATX adapter does not exist for a venders propriety power supply, then obviously it will not work, the fact that you are asking this question shows that you are not skilled enough to do this ATX conversion and should consider having a local PC repair shop do this power supply conversion for you
