Welcome to our HP community forum!
Yes, your HP Compaq Pro 6305 SFF as powered by a 240-watt power supply can power a low-profile RX 550 (50-watt TDP).
However, in terms of graphics power, I would suggest using a low-profile RX 6400 (53-watt TDP), which performs quite a bit better than an RX 550: UserBenchmark: AMD RX 550 vs 6400.
Also, you can upgrade your processor to an AMD A10-5800B or AMD A10-5800K (3.80 GHz up to 4.20 GHz, 4-Cores, 4-Threads, 100-watt TDP), or better still, an AMD A10-6800B or AMD A10-6800K (4.10 GHz up to 4.40 GHz, 4-Cores, 4-Threads, 100-watt TDP).
Kind Regards,
