The desktop PC is:
HP Desktop M01-F0027NS Intel Core i7-9700/8GB/1TB+512GB SSD
This link below is in Spanish, you can see the spec if you need to by clicking "4 Opiniones" next to the row of asterisks immediately under the price (ie the star ratings bit similar to Amazon) then SCROLL UP ABOUT 1CENTIMETER (50 pixels or whatever) and clicking CARACTERISTICAS on the left, ie the leftmost of the three tabs.
https://www.pccomponentes.com/hp-desktop-m01-f0027ns-intel-core-i7-9700-8gb-1tb-512gb-ssd
The same shop (I am English but live in Spain) sell this graphics card which I have read is a good replacement - but I'm concerned about things like size of slot, and whether or not it needs an extra power supply or any kind of card upgrade - though this is an i7 PC.
Gigabyte Aorus GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6G GDDR6
https://www.pccomponentes.com/gigabyte-aorus-geforce-gtx-1660-ti-6g-gddr6
You can read the spec in the same way but of course it is Spanish.
****while we're here, if anyone happens to know if I can upgrade the RAM to 16GB, that would also be useful to know - I guess it's just a question of slots?***
Thank you so much for your help!

Firstly you can't replace Intel UHD 630 because it is an Integrated video which comes with the CPU. The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06460332
It has
Expansion slots
- One PCIe x16 socket (for discrete graphics card)
- One PCIe x1 socket
- One M.2 socket 1, key A
- Two M.2 socket 3, key M (one for SSD card PCIe x4)
That means you can ADD a GTX card to your machine. But which one because it only has 310W PSU and the GTX 1660 requires more power than that.
Its motherboard is an HP Customized board therefore upgrading PSU could be a problem. I can't find a higher wattage PSU which is compatible with new motherboard. Please wait for HP OR install a lower GTX card to your machine.
Regards.

The L05757-800 HP PSU will handle the GTX 1660Ti 6GB card . Locale shop should handle the complete order.
