Microsoft Windows 11

Basically, I recently bought a pc from argos and I want to upgrade the cpu and gpu. It currently uses intel Pentium silver J5040 as the cpu and shared graphics Intel UMA 605 as the gpu.

I'm wanting to swap the CPU to an i5 or i7

And the GPU to nvidia gtx 1060.

Will I be able to do this, if not what are other alternatives I can buy.

Here's the link to my pc

Unfortunately, the CPU is soldered to the motherboard and there are no slots for graphics cards.

There appears to be a place for a DVD but I was unable to find the part number for one that fits.

You might consider buying a USB3 BlueRay player/recorder

Software for BlueRay player (and ripping) can be found at dvdfab

Hello this is me from another account. I want a cheap solution but I have to ask. Is getting a new motherboard a better solution. That way I can install a new cpu.

Make sure the motherboard is used and not new or "open box".  Used are licensed for windows.
