Hello I just checking the memory specification for my Desktop Computer and it shows the following:
- Dual channel memory architecture
- Two 240-pin DDR2 DIMM sockets
- Supported DIMM types:
- PC2-5300 (667 MHz)
- PC2-6400 (800 MHz)
- Non-ECC memory only, unbuffered
- Supports 2GB DDR2 DIMMs
- Supports up to 4 GB* on 32 bit PCs
- 32 bit PCs cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.
It shows that it supports up to 4GB on 32 bit PCs but my PC has Windows 10 64bit. So my question is can I upgrade to 8GB-16GB? If yes, since it only has to slot should each be 4GB for a total of 8gb?

Hi:
Unfortunately the maximum memory each slot can handle is 2 GB.
Your PC's motherboard would need to have 4 memory slots in order to upgrade the memory to 8 GB.
The Intel Intel G31 Express can only handle 2 GB of memory per slot.
It doesn't matter..32 or 64 bit operating system. The max is 2 x 2 GB of memory.
