Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I own an HP TP01-0066. It has a Ryzen 7 3700x. And a proprietary HP Erica 8643 motherboard. I would like to know which CPUs are compatible with this board for a possible upgrade. But I can't seem to find any page for this. I was considering a 5800x or newer. Please advise.

Unfortunately, the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X happens to be the best possible compatible processor for your HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-0xxx as fitted with the Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643), as also verified here amongst HP System Pavilion Desktop TP01-0xxx Users: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-Pavilion-Desktop-TP01-0xxx/158692.

 

The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X is not compatible with your motherboard.

Thanks for the reply, but that seems to be a third party website. Is there no HP documentation on supported CPUs for a given motherboard?

Even if the HP page for the Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643) was available -incidentally, it is not:
