I have decided to upgrade my pc by installing 650w PSU and GTX 1650. However, many people told me that if I install 650w PSU. It might destroy my PC. Can anybody please help me out if I can install it or not? Also, would you please suggest which GPU will be best for me, not lower GPU?

I doubt it. Can they provide more details, not just "urban folklore" ?

But, any "high-end" graphics adapter card will generate more heat, and you need to be sure that the heat inside the case is properly dissipated, to avoid overheating.  Note that most "overheated" computers will proactively shutdown before there is a danger of permanent damage.

If you have a "Mini-Tower" computer, you really need to be aware of possible overheating.

Add some fans, maybe even by cutting a hole in one of the side panels, and mounting a fan (and a safety screen) to fill that hole.

What is your budget for a graphics adapter card?  At some price-point, it may be better to purchase a "ready-for-gaming" tower-style desktop computer, with built-in high wattage and a good GPU and good cooling.
