@AyoD,

Please type "system information" in your windows search bar.

Left-click on the System Information App.

Under the "Item" column:

What processor is currently installed?

What "BaseBoard Product" do you have?

Kind Regards,

@AyoD,

Your PC already has the fastest CPU fitted as per HP's specifications: HP Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, Cambridge | HP® Customer Support.

Please note that the 1.40 GHz you mentioned is the i7-11700T's base frequency, what matters is what this CPU can do in max turbo boost mode: up to 4.60 GHz, which is very good.  Also, this processor has 8 cores and 16 threads.

The i7-11700T is ranked as a "very good" processor, such as here: Intel Core i7-11700T CPU Benchmark, Specs and Pricing :: hardwareDB.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your responses. My PC do make some noise from the fan especially when I'm video editing and that does give me concern, hence my intention to upgrade the cpu to a base speed to 2.9GHZ
