Product: HP Pavilion TouchSmart 20-f200a All-in-One Desktop PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

My PC has an AMD E1-2500 CPU which runs very slow (1.4 Ghz.)  Although it has dual cores and  8 GB of RAM it is still sluggish. I want to upgrade the CPU to an AMD A4-5100  which runs at a slightly faster frequency (1.55 Ghz. ) but has 4 cores. I have checked the comparison of the two CPUs  in CPU world and see no issues. Can anyone tell me if  I might run into any problems with the upgrade ?

Unfortunately, your processor cannot be swapped, quote: "The motherboard supports the AMD Kabini E1-2500 APU only. The processor is not upgradable." Link: HP Pavilion TouchSmart 20-f200a All-in-One Desktop PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support.
