Hello, I would like to upgrade my HP Omen 880-103nl in order to play Starfield. Right now I have still the GTX 1070 and I would like to buy the RTX 4070. Is it possible? Will it work efficiently?
If not, would the RTX 4060 be ok?
Many thanks for the help.

According to the OMEN by HP 880-103nl Desktop PC specs as found here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05859442, your desktop is fitted with a Tampa2 motherboard (SSID: 8437) and a 500-watt power supply -please confirm.
Your PSU can power an RTX 4060 which requires at least a 450-watt power supply, but you may have to purchase a dual 8-pin PCIe to 12-pin PCIe power cable adapter.
On the other hand, an RTX 4070 requires at least a 600-watt power supply. Since your motherboard is 24-pin ATX-power enabled, meaning, you could upgrade your power supply with any industry standard ATX power supply, as long as you watch its dimensions (LxWxH) for fit inside your computer case, and you have to watch the orientation of the PSU's air intake and air discharge to make sure it is not blocked to get ambient air.
Hope this was helpful.
