I looks like the processor can be taken out easily by pulling the leaver, I just wanted to make sure before I bought the processor. My pc is a HP Compaq dc7700 with 8GB of ram, 500GB hdd and an Intel core duo processor.

You wouldn't be able to upgrade the processor to any Intel core processor.

 

The best you can do is the E6700 Conroe 2.66 GHz processor.

I would also like to ask you, what is the best graphics card that i can put in my computer, that has ether a HDMI port or a vga port? HP dc7700

I recommend the AMD HD 6450 low profile card.  It is a low wattage card that should work with the 240W power supply your PC has.
