Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a new HP Desktop 590p0070 and bought a Dell UltraSharp monitor U2415 and can not get it to work.  I tried several cables including getting one for DP Port error message.  So, can this HP desktop be used with this Dell monitor???

Hi:

 

Looking at the specs for your PC and your monitor, I don't know why a standard HDMI cable wouldn't work.

 

I am using a Dell monitor on my HP PC and have been doing so for years.  No problems at all.
