Hi,
Can I fit a Nvidia Quadro K4000 graphics card to a HP Z230 TOWER PC?
Also, will I need to upgrade the 400w psu to a higher powered psu and if so what would you suggest?
Sorry if this has been covered somewhere else but I am now so confused I really need help...
Regards, Des UK

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!
Yes, a Nvidia Quadro K4000 3GB graphics card will fit in your HP Z230 Tower, as shown by this User, for example.
Since a K4000 card requires one 6-pin PCIe power cable, and a number of sources -such as this one, recommended a 400-watt power supply, I would suggest you should upgrade to a 400-watt power supply. You could purchase the stock HP Z230 Tower 400-watt power supply, with HP p/n: 705045-001, which you can buy via eBay-UK sellers here.
Just out of morbid curiosity: why a K4000? Just be aware that this card scores even lower than a GT 1030, which is pretty much good only for browsing and watching YouTube.
Kind Regards,
