I have an HP Pavillion 24 AIO PC which recently had its AC adapter short-circuited (Part Number: 901981-003). I looked up for spare parts for this PC on Part Surfer, and found the following list (truncated).
Part Number
681058-002 |
849652-002 |
849652-003 |
852160-800 |
901981-002 |
901981-003 |
I see several listings online (AliExpress, Alibaba, Ebay), which sell the part number "681058-001", which apparently does not fall under the category of parts that this PC is compatible with. However, the power ratings on my defective AC adapter and the listed AC adapters online are all the same (150W 19.5V 7.69A). Can I still use a different adapter (Part Number: 681058-001) for my HP Pavillion 24 AIO even though it is not considered to be a spare part according to Part Surfer?

Hi @izone
The same AC adapter is commercially available with 681058-001 and 681058-002.
