Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently tired to upgrade the cpu and failed and I want to speed up my pc and since SSD is a good choice I want to know if this old pc can support PCIe SSD eg 32GB just for programs and OS. Also will it have slow data transfer speed due to the motherboard being very old.

Here are my specs:

  • Windows 10 64-bit
  • Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6850 @ 3.00GHz
  • Mainboard Name: 0AA8h
  • Socket LGA775
  • RAM: 4GB

Thanks

Hi,

Your PC is 10 years old so I wouldn't recommend  tossing any money into it.
