i was wondering if I could upgrade my CPU on my computer which is currently an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, the reason that I want to upgrade my CPU is because i need better performance on my pc. And if I do upgrade the CPU, would I need to upgrade anything else? Also if you could recommend me something that will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

@99Sashko,

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!

The only processor upgrade you could consider for your Erica6 motherboard (SSID: 8906), would be an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G (8-Cores, 16-Threads, 3.80 GHz to max 4.60 GHz):

Make sure you got the most recent Windows and HP drivers/software upgrades for your desktop:

Otherwise, swapping the CPU should be plug-and play.
