Your PC's motherboard has support for an M.2 socket 3 (SATA), 2280 footprint SSD.
As far as I have found, NVMe SSD types are not compatible with your motherboard.

Hi, @kidshaurya
The PC's that come with the Apulia motherboard such as yours, do support NVMe SSD's.
Here is the link to the product specs for a similar model with the same motherboard and it came from HP with a 256 GB NVMe SSD.

The motherboard guide for this specific PC states that it supports One M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD.
This looks like one of those which document is correct situations. Somehow this missed QA.

Why does Socket 3 mean that it is specifically for SATA M.2 SSD's?
This document indicates that a socket 3 M.2 slot is for the type of device you can install.
- Socket 3: SSD Drive Socket with SATA or up to four PCIe lanes.
M.2 Interface, Key and Socket explained (atpinc.com)
That to me seems to indicate that both a NVMe or SATA SSD is supported.
If you go down the list of PC's using that motherboard, no doubt you will find more than one that came with a M.2 NVMe SSD.
I posted the first one I happened upon.

I found the very same commercial website.
The "Socket 3: SSD Drive Socket with SATA or up to four PCIe lanes." is a bit vague.
You can recommend NVMe compatiblity, since it states that in the motherboard storage device specification, if you are comfortable with doing that.
This is one of those times when the available documentation has been vague. When that happens I tend to be on what I considere to be the safe side in terms of the "do no harm" mandate.

I am very comfortable recommending a NVMe SSD, since the specs for the model I posted show the exact same motherboard with the exact same socket 3 SSD specs, and it comes with a NVMe SSD.
I have also made this recommendation before and so have others.

That kind of documentation works for me as well.
