I purchased an HP Omen 25L with an i3 and it has 8gb DDR5 memory. Id like to add more memory and wondering if i can use sticks of ddr4 instead and what speeds it maxes out at. I see conflicting info everywbere and need this straightened out

Hi:
If your PC has DDR5 memory, you can't install DDR4 memory because it runs at a higher voltage, has a different number of contact pins and the notch in the memory board is cut in a different place than it is on a DDR5 memory chip, making it impossible for a DDR4 chip to fit in a DDR5 memory slot.
