@dwmann5,

In theory, yes, your HP Pavilion 595-p0084 (3LA58AA) as fitted with a Lincs motherboard (SSID: 843B), would be compatible with an RTX 3090.  However, the problem is that your PC was stocked with a 180-watt power supply, and an RTX 3090 requires at least a quality 750-watt power supply.

There is a compatible 400-watt power supply with p/n: L04618-800, which is equipped with one 6+2-pin PCIe power cable, or a 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800, which is equipped with one 6+2-pin and one 6-pin PCIe power cables.

The 400-watt power supply is good enough to power a smaller-sized (two fan) RTX 4060 graphics card powered by one 8-pin PCIe power cable, such as this model, and the 500-watt power supply can power an RTX 4060 Ti, such as this model.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
