Your HP Pavilion 590-P0007c (3LB64AA), as fitted with an HP Lincs motherboard (SSID: 843B), can be upgraded with any of these processors. My recommendation is to upgrade to an i7 processor, an i7-8700 or i7-9700. You can purchase one of these processors online, specifically through a trusted eBay seller.
It would be a good idea to check if your desktop got the latest BIOS version, found here.
You should have at least 2 x 8GB of identical DDR4 PC4-21300, 2666 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 288-pin RAM sticks. You can also use 2 x 8GB of DDR4 PC-25600, 3200 MHz RAM sticks, which will down-throttle to 2666 MHz, such as this quality and affordable RAM kit: Timetec 16GB KIT(2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz (or 2933MHz or 2666MHz) PC4-25600 CL22 1.2V Non-ECC Unbuffered ....
Once you do this, your desktop should noticeably run smoother and faster.
Kind Regards,
