So at the moment I'm considering upgrading my HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-1000i (8BG55AV) from 8GB to 16GB due to some games running poorly, my question is would I be able to install Corsair RAM to my current PC?

hi
Motherboard Specifications, Baker
check if it is this motherboard
Difficult to identify the model see this:
as long as you use compatible modules, the brand is not of great importance.
But you need modules as close as indicated, and that what there is of origin
But certain models should certainly be avoided
ex:

- Dual channel memory architecture (One DIMM per channel)
- Two DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets
- Supports up to PC4-23400 (DDR4-2933)
- Supports 4 GB and 8 GB DDR4 UDIMMs

note:
