Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was wondering if my desktop could handle a gtx 1650. If not can I have some recommendations for gpu to upgrade to. i currently have a radeon rx 550.

Your existing RX 550 does not require PCIe 6 pin power. It runs off the PCIe slot.

GTX 1650 cards vary in DDR5 or DDR 6 RAM.   DDR6 has different power requirements per manufacturer.

 

Example: EVGA (75W)  and MSI (85W) both require 6 pin power. HP has designed these PSU units as proprietary. Only the 400W and 500W (so far) have the 6+2 power plug.   See this spreadsheet.  The TP01 is a series.

 

BTW<> for reference, is your 310W PSU the L64961-800, and does it have a unused 6 pin PCIe plug.
