By the way I opened the case and looked at what memory is installed:

Hynix DDR3L 1600 SO-DIMM 8Gb (HMT41GS6AFR8A-PB N0)

Now you only have to buy one 8 GB memory bar, and not two.

Yes, but I think it will be better to use 2 same modules, so I will buy a new one (crucial 2x8) and then sell my Hynix. 🙂
