I am unable to log onto HP computer. It says “Boot Device Not Found”. Help

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

When the system shows “Boot Device Not Found”, it usually means the PC is unable to detect the operating system or the storage drive properly.
 

To help identify whether this is a hardware issue or a Windows/boot issue, please run the HP Hardware Diagnostics:

  1. Turn the PC OFF completely
  2. Turn it back ON and immediately tap the Esc key repeatedly
  3. Press F2 to open HP Hardware Diagnostics
  4. Run:
  • Storage/Hard Drive Test
  • Memory Test
     

Please let the tests complete fully and share the results with us:

  • If you receive a Failure ID
  • Or if all tests PASS
     

Once you share the results, we’ll guide you with the next steps.
