Hello,
I am trying to create a Video-DVD of a MPEG file that I can play on TV.
Whenever I get to the burn to DVD step it fails seemingly at the final step . I have been using Corel Video Pro firstly then I downloaded various free DVD burning software applications (thinking it was the Corel software that was causing an issue) The last software I have been using is AShampoo DVD burning software and all goes well until the very last step - "could not write to device"/"recording DVD failed" are the messages that I get.
I have ensured that my Windows Update is current, I have checked for Firmware updates and I have checked that the DVD driver is also up to date. I have also uninstalled the DVD driver & then restarted the PC hoping that it would force the install of the latest Driver details.
The Driver details for the DVD/CDROM is hp CDDVDW SH-216DB with a driver date of 21/06/2006 and a driver version of 10.0.18362.1
HP Support also says it has no driver updates for my PC.
Any help would be appreciated - many thanks in advance.
Any suggestions??

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues burning MPEG files to DVDs.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
- Have you tried burning a different MPEG file?
- Have you tried burning a data disc?
Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.
