Can you Upgrade Hard drive in the Pavilion 23-g220t AIO with a 2tb 3.5 hard drive? This came with a 1 TB SATA 6G 2.5 8GB SSHD Drive. That drive crashed. I want to replace it with a 2 TB, but the SSHD is not only unreliable, it does not have a recovery if it fails, once it crashes you can’t even boot up the pc. The problem I am having is all 2.5 HD are 5400 RPM and the 3.5 is 7200 RPM. As far as I know I can not use a SSD.

Looks like a NO, 3.5" drive won't physically fit to 2.5" slot. You have to use 2.5" HDD, for example:
WD 2TB Black Edition 64MB Performance SATA3 7200RPM Internal HDD
or much faster 2.5" SSD

Thank you, I was pretty sure it couldn’t be done, but could not find a specific answer. Not sure if I trust a SSHD, so will probably just go with an ordinary SATA HD. If I did go with a SSHD, would making a system Image with Windows 10 work to save all the settings and programs if it crashes ?( not worried about files, they are saved on a external hard drive. It is just the idea that a SSHD does not have a recover option that worries me.
