- Can you put 4GB DDR2 mem modules in HP iQ816t

I would like to increase memory from 4GB to 8GB RAM. The specs say 4GB is the maximum, but since memory module capacities have increased, I wonder if putting in 2 4GB DDR2-667MHz modules will give me 8GB RAM. Anyone ever done that successfully?
Bonus question - in the iQ816t is there room for a second hard disk drive? I would like to add an SSD and ideally move all the apps and OS to the new SSD drive without having to reinstall all the applications and Windows 10. I would use the existing SATA hard disk drive for infrequently accessed data.
Any advice you have on these topics would be appreciated. Thanks.

Here is the support page for that PC
You are correct about what the support page says concerning the memory modules as being limited to 4GB. About the only way to see if it will support the larger modules is to try it. Sometimes the PC will accept a larger than spec'd module. I see no evidence of anyone posting that it was done, however.
As far as the SSD question - there are only two SATA ports on the motherboard. One for the hard drive and one for the DVD/CD drive. Since this is an AIO, very unlikely there is physical room for the SSD, even if there was a port. Also, this PC had Vista as the OS, so very old as far as computers go.
IMHO, this PC is not worthy of those upgrades.
