Product: HP Pro 3500 Series MT
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'm upgrading an old pc of mine. It's the HP Pro 3500 Series MT. It has the Pentium processor in it. Would I be able to upgrade to an i5-3470? Are they the same socket?

The supported processors can be found on pp 3 - 4.

 

Any of those processors listed should work in your model.
