I have tried to upgrade the RAM with one that is non-hp and it is locked at 2100. I went into my bios, which is running F.27 which came out in 11/2023 and there is no option for a XMP profile, only custom and default where custom does not work. I heard there was an update awhile back that allowed for XMP profiles but I'm not sure if this desktop qualified for that (the board is a 8703). Basically, I'm trying to figure out what my options are for getting the RAM back to 3200 or if there is a way to make the XMP profile to appear.

Unfortunately, as much as HP Omen desktop PC's appear to be similar to actual DIY build gaming rigs, their motherboards are not even close.
You will have to pick memory modules that have been certified by HP and configurable i the Omen Gaming Hub.

You should take a look at the list of compatible components in the real world User Benchmark at the hyperlink below. See what other owners (5,327 at the current count) of your desktop PC series have made to work. There is an extensive list of memory modules as well.
