I was wondering if I can swap out the motherboard to another case? i don't know if it has a proprietary connection for io. I dont have my new case yeah and will upgrade the motherboard later. Just wondering sense I don't have the other case to compare io plugs.

As suggested in the article, your best option is choosing a case manufacturer and contacting their Tech Support for help. They are the experts on their products.
