@Shahrezau,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

I am not surprised: you want to downgrade from a Porsche 911 to a Citroën 2CV (French: deux chevaux) ?

The graphics performance difference between an RTX 3060 and an MSI GeForce GTS 450 is already mind boggling.  We are talking about a 1,169% difference: UserBenchmark: Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 vs RTX 3060.

But wait.  The difference between an RTX 3060 and a Nvidia GeForce 210 is even more stunning: 12,654% -see: UserBenchmark: Nvidia GeForce 210 vs RTX 3060.

The point is that if you want to downgrade your graphics card, neither of these severely antiquated cards is going to work for a number of reasons.

If you must downgrade your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-0000i, I wouldn't go below a GT 1030 or GTX 1650.

Kind Regards,

Hi

So you are telling me is impossible to downgrade this computer to something very basic. We are not trying to play game on it is only for internet.

Thanks

@Shahrezau,

Do you know what processor you have? If your processor has integrated graphics, that is certainly good enough for internet usage, and you don't need a discrete graphics card at all.

You see, the problem is that when you install a discrete graphics card (and you plug in your monitor directly into the card), it will automatically override your CPU's integrated graphics -if it has it.  The fact that you see nothing may indeed mean that these cards are incompatible with your motherboard.

Btw, are you able to access BIOS at all with or without one of your basic graphics cards?

Kind Regards,

 Windows 11 "REQUIRES" a WDDM 2.0 capable GPU,  as such older GPU's will no longer work

Currently Nvidia Fermi (GeForce 400/500 Series except GeForce 405) and newer GPUs are supported, anything earlier is left out of support. Fermi users must use newer DirectX 12 capable drivers since they are WDDM 2.x drivers.

you want to run obsolete or antique video cards? then install a older non supported OS such as windows 7 which is a perfect match for the cards you want to use note that the older obsolete video card drivers will also be required

Hi

Below is the spec for the pc

HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop, Intel Core i5-10400F, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Windows 11 Home, Black, TG01-1183w

The funny thing the motherboard have integrated vga but even you enable it in bios still doesn't work. Also if u don't put your video card in the motherboard start beeping.

Thx for the information.

try running "DDU" (display driver uninstaller) in safe mode

newer systems should auto detect/use onboard video (if the cpu has a integrated GPU) if no external add-in card is installed

you can also try removing vid card then do a manual cmos reset to defaults by cmos batt removal,  or pressing cmos reset button  then powering on and press the enter bios key repeatedly during startup. if you get vid in bios system is working, reboot and let windows detect onboard vid which may take a few min

@Shahrezau,

Your i5-10400F does not have integrated graphics.  Therefore, you will need a discrete graphics card.

I would recommend a basic GT 1030 2GB graphics card, which can be purchased under $100 via Amazon: Amazon.com: Asus GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 HDMI DVI Graphics Card (GT1030-2G-CSM) : Everything Else or used for $65 via eBay from a trusted Seller: PCWINMAX Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 PCIe HDMI Graphics Video Card | eBay.
