Chromebase -Unable to use top row as function keys. Please HELP

Hello guys.

I just bought a chromebase but I am unable to use the top row as function keys like other chromebooks. I have activated the option (use top row as function keys) in the settings but it's not working. Anyone else has this issue or know what to do?  Thanks

I see that you are not able to use function keys on your Chromebook system. Do not worry, we are here to fix it.

 

May I know from when are you facing this issue?

Did you make any hardware or software-related changes to it?

I am having the exact same problem. I purchased the Chromebase and as soon as I set it up, I changed the setting to use the top row buttons as function keys. It does not work. I bought this to use for work. A huge part of my tasks are pressing F2 to move to the next field and it doesn't work. It does refresh, as if I hadn't changed the setting at all. Please help.
