Pavilion All-in-One - 24-b212d
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

The Fan in my Pavilion All-in-One - 24-b212d has been getting really loud lately and I’ve managed to open the rear case so I can clear any dust that might be causing this.  When I looked inside it didn’t look like there was much dust at all.  I’ve sprayed all around the fan several times with an air can and I can’t see that there’s any left.  Are there any other components I should be detaching so I can check for dust trapped within them?

Thanks for any help

if you opened the back case...and used the canned air there....and on the top vents too....then i see no problem.

its normal to hear the fans running faster as the computer heats up...

Also like i said in the 1st post...use it frequently...do not let dust accumulate inside...as it will be harder to get rid of it

No...you should be good...but remember to do that often...most FANs can fail after a while used without cleaning

You're sure?  It seems when ever the fan sounds like it's going really fast dust visibly always starts blowing out of the vents at the top, but as I said, when I actually opened the case it didn't appear that there was that much dust around the components.  I'm not sure where it would be getting caught to blow out of the top vents like that.
