Hey I just saved this desktop from my local dump and I was excited to see it had a pic express slot. I threw in my old radeon 5670 and I can't get it to show up in device manager. I went into the bios to enable pcie graphics but nothing, it only out puts onboard graphics. Can I flash the bios? Am I missing something?

@Jonhogan , welcome to the forum.
Is the correct model of your computer SR5010NX? I can't find the model that you listed.

Thanks for replying. It's a 945gct-hm motherboard. I ended up updating the bios but my radeon 5670 still won't work with it. I went through the bios a million times trying everything. Honestly I'm probably sell it for a quick buck. But if I could get some extra performance it would be a great. Thanks either way.

That motherboard is circa 2007. The HD 5670 is circa 2010 (64W card).
It is fine loaded a default motherboard graphic driver. But when a card is inserted, it automatically switches to the PCIE slot. It expects to find a defined card, likely removed.
Both are compatible to each other without any interference. I would investigate any added software or drivers for a GPU card that is not longer part of the system. Sounds like it is trying to load a GPU card that no longer exists.
