Comparing 2 Refurbished Desktops. Which One?

I am comparing two separate desktops, both refurbished.

1. i3, dual-core, 3.0 GHz, 500GB HDD, 8GB RAM

2. i5, quad-core, 2.9 GHz, 500GB HDD, 8GB RAM

What difference in performance should I expect?

this is not enough.
First, ask yourself the right questions.
A refurbished computer can be a bad investment
I prefer to warn you, we have already seen people very disappointed, reconditioned, is not necessarily in good working order
Give if possible the links, exact model of the two machines, there may be other differences to take into account
