Hi there, my Omen desktop is around 5 years old and has an Intel® Core™ i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz processor with 16MB RAM. When I run a check for compatibility I'm told I can't upgrade to Windows 11 because of my processor (everything else gets a tick) - yet Microsoft list this processor as being compatible with Windows 11 - I appear to have the latest BIOS version installed on the motherboard so can anyone offer any other suggestions on what I can do to make my PC compatible? Many thanks in advance.

It has an Intel Gen 6 processor. You can't upgrade CPU to Intel Gen 8 (required by Windows 11) But you can install Windows 11 now using
Installing Windows 11 on devices that don't meet minimum system requirements
and start saving money to buy a proper machine in 2 or 3 years time.
