One of the two main steam games I play is notorious for coming out with excessively massive updates, which means I'm running low on disk space. Since the games reportedly don't run well off External HDDs, I'm debating on adding a 2nd internal drive strictly for gaming.
Will the stock motherboard and power supply will be able to handle a 4T or higher drive? Or will I need to upgrade something before adding a 2nd internal drive? I haven't found anything specific or concrete to what I'm wanting to know when searching online, just generic info.

You are very welcome, @AliraD.
No, the hard drives don't use enough power to require any further upgrades to your system. If you were upgrading the video card that would be a different story.

Thanks, that's some extremely useful information that I wasn't even aware of.
Unfortunately, it didn't confirm if I'll have to upgrade any of the other existing hardware or not. Years ago, I was going to upgrade something on my pc and had to upgrade the motherboard and power supply first. I just can't remember what it was I had planned to upgrade since it's been so many years ago and I've had several computers since then.

Provided that your model has an existing 3.5" hard drive, all you need is another SATA3 data cable. If you look at this video, you will see the 2 separate hard drive mountings. Tucked aside the first HD bay is the power for the second drive.

Thank you for that video. Very very helpful. Certainly would have been nice to have that when I upgraded the RAM on here. I did it without removing the drive cage, since the diagrams themselves were not very clear. Very much appreciated!
