Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My motherboard CPU overheated and motherboard failed. I was wondering if there is any motherboard compatible with my laptop that has a better CPU?

Hi:

 

Yes, there are motherboards with better processors than what your notebook originally came with.

 

You can even get one with better graphics, but you would also need to by the different heat sink.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 17 Laptop PC

 

They are listed in chapter 3, pages 17 & 18.

 

Note that it may be cheaper to buy a new notebook than to replace the motherboard in yours, as motherboards are very expensive.
