Hi:
Below is the link to the quickspecs for your PC.
HP EliteDesk 705 G1 Business Series Desktop (fcnit.com)
Page 7 has the list of supported graphics cards listed by form factor.
If you want to buy a newer card than those listed, you could also install the Nvidia GT 730 low profile card or the Nvidia GT 1030 low profile card.

Greetings Paul_Tikkanen,
With your permission, may I add to your GPU examples the Low-Profile MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or the Low-Profile ZOTAC GTX 1050 Ti?

As you know, these cards do not require a dedicated (6/8-pin) power connector from the PSU and use very little power supplied solely from the motherboard.

Hi, @NonSequitur777
I think that the GTX 1050 is a great recommendation if someone wants to put that much money ($250+) into such an old PC.
It's bad enough the GT1030 is around $130 for the GDDR5 model.
It's crazy how much the cost of graphics cards has risen.
I paid $89 bucks for an EVGA GT1030.
