HP Elitedesk 800 G3 TWR

Current CPU: intel i7-7700

CPU socket: FCLGA1151

 

I would like to upgrade the processor to generation 8 and above to meet Windows 11 requirements.

Is it possible? what CPUs above generation 7 are compatible with this desktop model?

Its motherboard supports G6 & G7 CPU's but NOT G8. If you wish, you can use:

 

             Installing Windows 11 on devices that don't meet minimum system requirements
