Welcome to our HP User Forum!
First of all, perhaps you want to consider purchasing a new(er) PC platform. Upgrading an old(er) desktop like yours is going to be fairly costly with limited cost-benefits perks.
Without further ado, your HP Desktop - M01-F0033w (6YR55AA) is fitted with an Erica2 motherboard (SSID: 8643) and according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-desktop-pc-m01-f0000a/38096274/model/35801251/document/c0669..., equipped with a 180 watt power supply. There is not a whole lot you can do -or should expect from a mere 180 watt.
According to: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Power-Supply-Cross-Reference-for-specific-model..., these two power supplies are compatible with your motherboard: 400 watt (HP p/n: L04618-800) and: 500 watt (HP p/n: L05757-800).
Your chipset is the AMD Promontory B550A, and according to the first link I posted can only be upgraded to an AMD Ryzen 5 3400G.
However. According to the specs of another desktop fitted with the same motherboard, two additional processor options are mentioned (outlined in blue):
However, it is unclear to me whether your particular "M01" desktop is actually compatible with the Ryzen 5 3500 or the Ryzen 7 3700X. If they are, these processors don't have integrated graphics, so you must have a discrete graphics card.
With this in mind, I would recommend the 500 watt power supply upgrade.
Then you can think about installing an RTX 2060, GTX 1660 Ti, GTX 1660 Super, etc. in your desktop -provided they physically fit in your case.
According to: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-m01-f0033w, you can upgrade your desktop with an M.2 PCIe NVMe Gen 3 SSD. If you haven't done so already, make that your primary (boot) drive.
Also, have at least 2 x 8GB of RAM installed, up to 2 x 16GB. RAM should preferably be the same brand/same part number.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
