Hi, I am looking to upgrade my HP Pavilion with a new graphics card and power supply. I was wondering if a Rx 590 Fatboy Edition GPU would work with this PC. Also I was wondering if their are any 600 - 700 watt power supply's that work with this PC.

In looking at the XFX Radeon RX 590 Fatboy DirectX 12 RX-590P8DFD6, it is 10.63" long x 4.88" wide. According to the spec page for the PC, the present card ( AMD RX550 FH 2GB G5) is 4.4 in x 6.4 in
If you look at the manual for your PC.

The detail showing how to change the video card (page 24 - 25) looks as though the new card is too long.
You might want to do some investigating on space inside your PC before going to much further.
Further - while you are looking at space requirements, it would be prudent to actually measure the present power supply to compare to the larger power supply such as the 500w - 700w that was questioned. Your case is pretty tight compared to full desktop models.

While that is possible and would alleviate the space problem, that requires careful planning in choosing a case that will accommodate everything. In the motherboard setup ( lining up the card slot placements) and matching the standoff spacers is especially important.
Trying to find a I/O plate to fit is going to be a problem as that motherboard does not comply with a standard back plate.

@dlzmat941 , you need to supply the model number of the PC.
That question should be a new thread instead of piggy backing into this one.
