Trying to log into the computer, the number 6 keeps getting entered and the computer won’t stop typing that number. I’ve unplugged the keyboard, and it is still typing the #6 with the keyboard unplugged. I’ve tried using the onscreen keyboard and it’s still typing the number 6. I’ve tried to restore l, but when it prompts for the key te computer starts entering the number 6 again.

Boot into a live linux on a USB stick and see if the same happens there
