My hp omen 30l desktop has been running very slow for several months now, the mouse barely moves and it's slow when I type on the screen like I'm using a 40 year old computer. I have no idea what happened and there's no way it could be a virus. I have tried different ram, different nvme drives, even tried an old solid state drive that I reinstalled windows on, but it wouldn't display a picture after I installed it. I don't know what's going on. Fresh windows 11 install several times. All the diagnostic tests I've done show nothing is wrong. Is the graphics card dying? (nvidia geforce 3080), stock power supply so I don't know if it's crap. I've been fixing computers for 25 years, never saw an issue like this. I have a corsair cpu water cooler, 2 rog system fans. The temps I'm seeing are nothing outrageous. I have no extra graphics card to try. Tried a FPS test and it said like 15 FPS, any background video I try the computer runs so slow.

Hi @ryanverd
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Your PC's symptoms are baffling given all the troubleshooting steps you have done.
Anything unusual going in Task Manager? Does the PC have an inordinate amount of processes running or something pinning the: CPU, memory, or drives?
I'm trying to think of anything that would cause this, maybe persistent low level malware in the EFI firmware??
Try this BIOS update Here for a 207P7AV PC to see if it helps. It would be best to have a specific HP product number when doing a BIOS update.
Check this Site to assist in finding the specific HP product number.
Try onboard graphics if you have a Ryzen "G" CPU. GT13-1000a is generic, I don't know what CPU is installed in your PC.
Possible CPU options on the Hana MB are:
5600G
5700G
5600X
5800X
5900X
I have never seen a PSU do this but I guess anything is possible. The PC will usually fail to start, or shutdown/restart unexpectedly, or possibly blue screen if the PSU is in trouble.
Are all CPU cores active and running at the correct frequencies? Also check: memory capacity and frequency.
You stated component temps are okay. Try HWiNFO portable to check all: component frequencies and temps. This software provides a lot of system detail from the MB and all components connected to the MB.
