So my PC is stuck on a Black screen with the HP logo in the middle. There is no loading wheel, nothing else in the screen, and has been stuck like this for a couple weeks. This might be related to the problem I had a couple months ago with a Bios update problem. The computer is a Pavilion all-in-one computer so I can't open it up if I need to. I've tried Restarting it, unplugging it and restarting, Unplugging everything from it for multiple days, let it load for multiple days, and tried to Factory reset it ( it didn't go through so nothing got erased).

@n1istor, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Reset the BIOS/CMOS (if possible):

Since it might be a BIOS issue, a reset could help. The Pavilion all-in-ones often have a method to reset the BIOS, though it's a little trickier without being able to open the case.

Hard reset of the BIOS:

Unplug the computer from power.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain any residual power.

Reconnect the power and try booting again.

Sometimes, this will reset the BIOS to factory defaults.

Access HP Diagnostics:

On HP computers, you can run diagnostics by pressing Esc or F2 right after powering on (before the HP logo appears). If you can access this menu, try running a system diagnostic to check for hardware issues, especially with the motherboard or hard drive.

BIOS Recovery

Since you mentioned the BIOS update problem, HP computers often have a built-in tool for recovering or re-flashing the BIOS. You may refer ot this guide: HP Notebook PCs - Recovering the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) | HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
