Hi, i have a HP Compaq 8100 Elite Base Model SFF Desktop Which has 2 Sticks of OEM Hp original RAM 2GB Each, I wanted to upgrade to a single stick of RAM 4GB ( CORSAIR CML4GX3M1A1600C9 DDR3 1600MHZ 4GB). When i turned it on after the ram swap there was no display, and after 5-10 seconds after pressing the power button the power supply fan ramped up and was really loud, on 2nd try there was a display. But when it got to the Windows 10 boot logo, the spinning circle got stuck and the computer shut down, but then after a few seconds it turned back on and did the same thing over and over again. Does any one know how to fix this issue?

Hi:
Memory is plug and play, and it is very difficult to find the right memory to work in the HP 8000 Elite and 8100 Elite model series.
The first thing you should know is that these PC's do not like performance/gaming memory at all which is probably why the memory isn't working correctly.
If you can find this brand memory and part number in your country, it should work just fine.
