Greetings,

Welcome back to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

Is your PC working okay?

HP must have removed the 2.77 BIOS update for some reason.

Don't see version BIOS 2.77 in the Revision history section at this HP Support site (Link).

Regards

Here you go Corttex 😎

Download HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF BIOS L01 v2.77

Found the link inside this: https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06330149

I just upgraded from v2.75 to v2.77 from within Windows without issues:

v275-v277.PNG

There was an extended lockup during the final block flashing compared to past experiences but eventually it came back to life. Also, for me at least, the post-flash reboot countdown had broken text/english and the countdown numbers disappeared when I clicked on them. Auto-reboot did kick-in on schedule though and the PC booted without issues.

As for why v2.77 has been seemingly rolled back four prod releases to v2.71 (and not to say v2.75) is a mystery.

Taking a closer loook, different BIOS versions are visible for download via the web interface depending on what Windows OS/architecture is selected. I suspect someone made a mistake and suggest OS categorisation of the item is the issue given the .exe is still hosted. HP staff may want to provide clarification / confirmation / correction here...pure conjecture!
