Product: HP 2211x Flatscreen monitor, Product No. XP601A
Low end Dell laptop Inspiron 15 3000 was dropped. Screen broke. Have older HP 2211x monitor on hand but no cables. Want to connect laptop and monitor to actually use it or see if other damage. Got a usb kvm cable to connect monitor to laptop. Looks like I need a separate power cable. Is there a straight cable that does this or do I have to get a power supply with cables? Is this even doable? Thanks!

You said it's a Dell -- and these are the HP forums, not Dell.
For advice on Dell equipment, you have to contact Dell Support.
